About Blog Dergisi

Journalism for a faster world.

Blog Dergisi is an independent magazine of reporting, business and ideas, founded on a simple conviction: that careful journalism still matters most when the news moves quickest. We exist to slow the story down just enough to get it right — to investigate, to explain, and to give our readers the context the feed leaves out. No proprietors, no political patrons, no agenda but the reader's.

What we stand for

Independent reporting

We are owned by no conglomerate and beholden to no party. Editorial decisions are made in the newsroom, full stop — which is the only way to follow a story wherever the facts lead.

Clarity over noise

The world is loud. Our job is to make it legible. We prize the clear sentence over the clever one, and we would rather publish one piece that explains than ten that merely react.

Reader-funded

Our work is paid for by the people who read it, not by advertisers chasing your attention. That single fact shapes everything: we answer to subscribers, and to no one else.

Meet the newsroom

Five editors, one standard
Camille Boucau

Camille Boucau

Editor-in-chief · Senior reporter

Leads the newsroom and still files the big investigations herself, from industrial policy to the climate beat.

Léo Mathis

Léo Mathis

Business editor

Covers markets, macroeconomics and the companies shaping them, with a reporter's nose for the data behind the headline.

Inès Barrailler

Inès Barrailler

Tech desk editor

Reports on artificial intelligence, privacy and the platforms remaking daily life — sceptical of hype, curious about everything.

SR

Sofia Renard

Editorial standards editor

Safeguards accuracy, fairness and corrections across every desk — the last set of eyes before we publish.

TK

Théo Kessler

Culture critic

Writes on film, books and the ideas moving the wider culture, with an eye for the work that will still matter next year.

Our standards

Earning trust, one story at a time.

Independence is a promise we have to keep on every page. These are the commitments that govern how we report, correct and fund our journalism.

  • 01

    Accuracy first

Every factual claim is sourced and checked before publication. Reporting is verified against primary documents and named sources wherever possible, and anonymity is granted only when the public interest demands it.

  • 02

    Corrections in the open

When we get something wrong, we say so. Corrections are appended clearly to the original article — never quietly deleted — and significant errors are flagged at the top of the page.

  • 03

A wall between funding and reporting

We are funded by subscribers, not advertisers or owners with agendas. Commercial partnerships, when they exist, are labelled plainly and never shape editorial coverage.

  • 04

    Fairness and right of reply

Anyone subject to a critical story is given a genuine opportunity to respond before we publish. We seek out the strongest version of the other side, not the easiest one to knock down.
